The Oasis Centre is recruiting. We are looking to recruit a Co-ordinator for our Re-Start programme from July 2021.
This opportunity will see you playing a significant part within our mission. You will be working directly with some of our disadvantaged adults. Many of these adults have never worked and this role requires you to mentor and support people to develop confidence and skills to enable them to take those next steps into employment or volunteering. We promote inclusion and encourage our clients to engage and own the project for themselves, they just need some guidance along the way – and that’s where you’ll come in.
The role needs you to plan and deliver Re-Start activities including IT support and all aspects of supporting vulnerable people into work. You will be creating and maintaining personalised CV's, searching effectively for jobs, completing job applications and preparing clients for interviews. You will be helping isolated, vulnerable and disadvantaged people improve their confidence, self-worth and independence.
You will be required to daily monitor, record and evaluate clients who access any part of the Re-Start programme.
You will need to keep up to date, accurate service and administration records and produce record information and monitoring forms on a monthly basis at Management meetings and compiling quarterly reports.
We welcome applications from individuals currently working within the charitable sector as well as those with relevant experience seeking to move from other sectors.
The successful candidate must be sympathetic to the Christian ethos of the Oasis Centre.
Salary: £22,000 per annum
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.00pm (Part time applications may be considered but Monday – Thursday are considered core hours for the role).
