As The Oasis Centre continues to grow and make an impact in Gorton and East Manchester, we have three opportunities to join the team so we can continue making an impact in the local area.
It is exciting times at Oasis. We are seeing record numbers of people come through the door on a daily basis and it is so much fun getting to know so many knew people.
The building project is also well under way and as we look at what the future holds for Oasis we have positions opening up as we build towards operating out of our own purpose built home.
The three positions are as follows:
Centre Operations Manager
The Centre Operations Manager will hold full operational leadership over all areas of our organisation. Reporting directly into the Charity Director and with regular guidance and support from the founder and CEO the Centre Operations Manager will lead, design and deploy exceptional operational strategies that will allow colleagues, clients and the community of Oasis to flourish into all it has been designed for. This position also has significant future growth potential that could see you holding greater strategic responsibilities.
Next Step Coordinator
This opportunity will see you playing a significant part within our mission. This is an organisational critical appointment as you will be working directly with some of our disadvantaged adults. Many of these adults have never worked and have been unable to volunteer anywhere else. This role requires you to mentor and support people to develop confidence and skills to enable them to take those next steps into volunteering. We promote inclusion and encourage our clients to engage and own the project for themselves, they just need some guidance along the way - that's where you come in!
By bringing an energetic, relational and natural networking ability to this role we foresee you working closely with our Charity Director to engage and equip organisations and individuals to connect financially into the amazing work Oasis are doing in the community. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a cost effective volunteer supported community fundraising strategy, as well as maximising opportunities within the local community to build relationships and ultimately raise both money and the overall profile of the organisation.
We are partnering with ChristianJobs.co.uk to recruit for these positions. If you want more information or have any enquries about these roles please contact James on firstname.lastname@example.org
